Recognising the international appetite for Swiss cheese, our CEO Stefan Wolfensberger and Co-Founder Thomas Hinz felt inspired to establish Real Swiss Cheese GmbH in 2014. The mission was clear: making top-tier Swiss cheese accessible to a broader audience abroad at compelling prices. Today, the operation spans worldwide, serving wholesalers, retailers, hotels and restaurants, all in the pursuit of sharing the joy of Swiss cheese. RSC remains committed to sourcing its products exclusively from esteemed regional Swiss cheesemakers, fostering sustainable and enduring partnerships that hold the essence of quality and tradition.

Meet Stefan, the fearless leader and CEO of RSC. When he’s not giving the company its strategic direction or keeping a close eye on the numbers as studied banking and finance expert, you’ll find him carving up the slopes in the Alps. Stefan’s love for skiing is matched only by his passion for exporting Swiss cheeses to the world. Whether he’s sourcing the best Swiss cheeses or working on a complex business deal, Stefan handles it all with finesse and a hearty dose of Swiss charm. With Stefan at the lead, RSC is always on the right track.

Thomas Hinz - Co-Founder & our Salesforce
Meet Thomas, the co-founder and sales expert of RSC. Before Thomas and Stefan have founded RSC, Thomas was a cheese buyer for a big retailer, honing his skills in selecting the finest products. Now, he focuses on driving sales and ensuring that our delectable Swiss cheeses reach every corner of the globe. When he’s not closing a deal or strategizing the next big move, Thomas has a keen interest in real estate, always on the lookout for the next great investment. Balancing cheese and property like a pro, Thomas leads RSC with expertise and passion.

Michelle Stucki - Head of Operations & Problem solver
Meet Michelle, our dynamic export manager for Swiss cheese, who not only coordinates internal processes and the daily business but also gives a hand wherever something needs to be done. Michelle is always on the move—not only at RSC, but also in her group fitness classes during after-work hours. Our young quality management expert with background in Food Science ensures that only the finest Swiss cheese crosses our borders, all while sporting a smile and thinking where she could grab her next (cheesy) snack.
Favorite cheese: Alpenwunder? Bergsteiger or maybe our Trüffeltraum? She has a hard time to decide.

Additionally to our core team in Switzerland, RSC has local Sales representatives for the Nordic countries, Spain and Australia to provide our customers a nearby contact person and personal services.
